| French Classes only! Our method is to help participants build language skills on strong foundations in a course constructed specifically for them. Once you fill out our questionnaire, we will be able to define a course suited to your tastes and hobbies. Your and your instructor will cultivate a relationship so that the course is adjusted to mirror your developing needs and tastes. A free meeting will be scheduled with your program coordinator to evaluate your level. Instruction (using textbooks, workbooks, video tapes, tapes, articles, etc) Beginner level: the program includes training in vocabulary, basic grammatical constructions, idiomatic expressions, pronunciation, listening and reading. Intermediate Level: the instructor will focus on the specific problem areas, so that the participant builds confidence in existing skills and raises his level of facility with the language. Classes for intermediate students include the areas covered by beginning classes and will introduce work in accent improvement and role-playing. Advanced Level: this course continues to use the Language Anywhere personalized method and instruction areas, but emphasizes pronunciation and the spoken language of conversation using light reading materials and pictures. Classes will also place the students in real-life situations. This allows the participant to function within the context of the language as encountered in daily activities. Books studies are available. Conversation classes (2 levels) The French conversation class is a wa to practice your French doing fun activities and to meet new people. The purpose of the French conversation class is to talk about France and other French speaking countries through a variety of activities and talk about various subjects. Your instructor will be using articles, videos and tapes. Classes are conducted in French only and are either one hour or two hours in length. Focus on Tourism Vocabulary This is a course offered separately from a standard language curriculum to enable the participant to prepare for travel. The instructor will use role playing techniques to focus on situations and gestures that the participant is likely to encounter. This course also includes foundation on the language. Focus on Business Vocabulary This is a course offered separately from a standard language curriculum to enable the participant to prepare for work-related situations. The instructor will use role-playing techniques that focus on situations that arise in the work place. For this course, in addition to our questionnaire, you will fill out an extra form, describing your work; so that the course can be specifically tailored to your field of work. Semi-Immersion Program Your instructor will custom-tailor the course according to your language needs, interests andbackground. We believe that an intensive immersion in the language will help you develop the language skills necessary to communicate effectively. In this program, you will be totally Immersed in the language, focusing on building strong foundations in the grammar, and developing vocabulary. You will also be put in situations to practice what you have learned,such as going out for lunch in a foreign restaurant, conversations on the telephone. Contact us for more information. Accent Reduction The course focuses on the following points as applicable: - Differentiation of similar phonetics - Correcting erroneous speech and sounds - Instruction in proper stress and intonation Language Anywhere's course work includes learning techniques such as listening, pronunciation, and tongue exercises. The participant will be put in work and social situations using role-playing to give more credibility to thel learning process.
