Enrichment Programs
Our enrichment programs are designed to give children the opportunity to try new things, explore and develop interests outside of the classroom. Our activities are play-based. In this context, children can explore, experiment, discover and solve problems in imaginative and playful ways through hands-on activities. The children will also have the opportunity to learn some French and about French culture.
*Art (Paris In The Palm Of My Hand - Madrid In The Palm Of My Hand - The World In The Palm Of My Hand)
A magical unconventional Art class with a sprinkle of French and Spanish for children. We will explore the work of famous French and Spanish artists. Art from all around hte world is a similar program where the children will also learn about new cultures.
*French (Ooh là là)
*Spanish (¡Olé!)
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach, the children will get to go to Paris or Madrid without leaving the classroom (...or their garden during the pandemic...) Each class will have a different theme: At the airport, At the museum, At the restaurant...The children's imagination will be put to work.
Classes were also offered as an After School Program at The Long Island School For The Gifted in Huntington. For more information on L.I.S.G in general go to: www.lisg.org

* S.T.E.A.M.M (class is on hold)
This class is offered as part of our enrichment program (space is limited). During our workshop, the children will sample a little of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math and since classes are taking place outside, there will be a touch of Mindfulness. Our classes are offered to younger children and are currently full, since current students have priority. If you have children 8 and up, we will recommend you to local businesses.
Each of S.T.E.A.M's five subjects will share a common approach and focus. They will require gathering and using evidence to create knowledge or solve problems. S.T.E.A.M. learning will happen naturally everyday as children explore, play, and try new things.
